LOLULO
Alternative. Nostalgic. Moody.

LOLULO is an acronym for "Last One, Lock Up, Lights Out," a phrase passed down in my family as a checklist for teen children coming home late. The last one home is responsible for locking the doors and turning out all the lights. LOLULO is a concept album following the drive home after a high school party, and all the memories encountered on the way: passing an old crush's house, driving by the elementary school where you used to play pretend with a long lost friend, or even taking a detour onto the highway to feel the wind in your hair. LOLULO is the distillation of my high school experience and my first full album, written by me and produced by my brother, Michael.

An open letter to a childhood playmate turned high school frenemy. Both a bittersweet retrospective and a declaration of victory, co-opting childhood games and make-believe as symbols of duplicity and insincerity.
